GoldenRides® is a premium, concierge-level transportation and personal assistance service designed specifically for seniors. We provide safe, reliable rides for medical appointments, social outings, self-care days, shopping, and more — with a strong emphasis on comfort, personal attention, and companionship.
Who is GoldenRides® for?
GoldenRides® is designed for adults ages 65+ who want to remain active, independent, and socially engaged but no longer drive or prefer not to. We also work closely with adult children, caregivers, and professionals who support older adults and want a dependable, high-touch transportation solution.
What makes GoldenRides® different from Uber, taxis, or other ride services?
GoldenRides® is fundamentally different from traditional ride services. In addition to transportation, we provide personal support and companionship.

Are GoldenRides® drivers trained to work with seniors?
GoldenRides® drivers are experienced in working with older adults and understand the importance of calm, responsible service. We are background and DMV-checked, CPR Trained, First Aid and Defensive Driver Certified, and fully immunized for your safety and security.
What are your payment terms?
We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal, Payment is due at the completion of service.
Is GoldenRides® a medical transportation service?
No. GoldenRides® is a non-medical, non-emergency transportation service in New York State and Connecticut. While we frequently transport clients to medical appointments and provide assistance and support, we do not provide medical or emergency transportation.
What types of rides does GoldenRides® provide?
GoldenRides® provides transportation for medical appointments, therapy visits, errands, shopping, personal care appointments, social outings, cultural events, and visits with friends or family. Rides may be scheduled as one-time trips, recurring services, or planned in advance.
Does GoldenRides® provide evening and weekend service?

Do you provide same-day or last-minute service?
GoldenRides® will accommodate unanticipated, non-emergency transportation needs for members of our Private Client Program. How is pricing structured?

Is GoldenRides® covered by insurance or Medicare?
GoldenRides® is a private-pay service and is not currently covered by Medicare or standard insurance plans. Some long-term care insurance policies or flexible spending accounts (FSAs) may reimburse transportation services. We provide detailed receipts for your records and reimbursement purposes.
Do you have a Satisfaction Guarantee?
We stand fully behind your first GoldenRides® experience. If you are not satisfied with your first completed service for reasons related to safety, comfort, professionalism, attentiveness, or communication, you may choose either a full refund for that ride or a complimentary second ride.
